After several intense days with founders from around the world, as well as investors and customers, we made it to the main stage at LAUNCH as one of three finalists in the Global IBM SmartCamp competition. We could not have hoped to compete alongside such deserving companies as the other finalists, Aid.Tech and RoboKind, as well as 7 other awesome companies from across the world.

Aid.Tech is, in a word, impressive. They build technology that provides a digital identity to refugees and helps international aid workers at the UN, Red Cross/Red Crescent add confidence and traceability to the aid they deliver. As the overall winner of the IBM Smart Camp competition, we hope to see Aid.Tech back in San Francisco very soon.

RoboKind is also amazing. They build physical robots that are expressive and interactive to help autistic kids engage and develop social skills. This company is also doing truly great work.

This was our third LAUNCH event with Legal Robot (though we have attended for years with other companies), so we knew it would be a good time. However, this was our first involvement with IBM Smart Camp, and really, our first involvement with IBM at all. We truly appreciate all of the technical help and resources IBM continues to provide with newer technologies like Hyperledger Fabric (a permissioned blockchain), and established cloud services.

Altogether, this LAUNCH Festival was a great event and by the end, we were excited to learn that we won the Best Design award.

Thank you to IBM and LAUNCH for this wonderful opportunity!
